Prospectus for Canadian English Writing Competition 2026-27

報名時間：2026年9月01日 至 9月28日（逾期報名者需每位收取$100行政費用。）

Registration Deadline: 1st to 28th September  2026（Late registrants will be charged $100 as administration fee）

請根據所屬年級選擇題目，並將所選題目寫在作文紙上。請使用黑筆（包括鉛筆）或藍筆作文。

Please select the topic according to your grade and write the selected topic on the composition paper.

Please use black pen or blue pen for composition.

請使用本會提供的作文紙寫作(按此處下載)，需填寫姓名、學校、年級。

Please use the writing paper provided by our association and fill in your name, school,and grade. (download here)

小學甲組（小學1-2年級），40至60字。以下題目二選一：
Primary school group A (primary school 1-2 grades), 40 to 60 words. Choose one of the following topics:

1. What is your hobby? How do you start it?

2. Describe a happy day. Who was with you?

小學乙組（小學3-4年級）， 100至150字。以下題目二選一：
Primary school group B (primary school 3-4 grades), 100 to 150 words. Choose one of the following topics:

1. Should schools start later in the morning? Why?.

2. A book that influenced me.

小學丙組（小學5-6年級），120至180字。以下題目二選一：
Primary school group C (primary school 5-6 grades), 120 to 180 words. Choose one of the following topics:

1. Should students be required to do community service?

2. Is social media making students more confident or more pressured? Why?.

初中組（中學1-3年級），200至300字。以下題目二選一：
Junior high school group (middle school 1-3 grades), 200 to 300 words. Choose one of the following topics:

1. The advantages and disadvantages of part-time jobs for students.

2. Should students be allowed to use AI tools for homework?

高中組（中學4-6年級），360至540字。以下題目二選一：
Senior high school group (middle school 4-6 grades), 360 to 540 words. Choose one of the following topics:

1. Everyone faces difficulties—tests, friendships, family situations, or personal fears.Tell a story about a challenge, what you did, and what you learned

2. Teachers can inspire students through encouragement, patience, or creative teaching.Write about a teacher and how the teacher influenced you.

After passing the Elimination test, you can immediately to participate in the Heat event.
通過入圍賽測後，可隨即報名參加初賽
